Good Evening and hello! After far, far too long away and not a small amount of procrastinating on writing, I have at last finished my second book, And the Sun Burned Red. The Kindle version is now available and the paperback edition should be available in the next few days.
This book started in November of 2012 when I wrote the first 40% of the work in pursuit of a NaNoWriMo, it was a work that I did not pick up or look at again for nearly 6 years. I then picked it back up and over the course of perhaps 6 months I finished the work before moving on to finish the second draft of my first book, The Shadow of the Past. I then spent some time working on editing through And the Sun Burned Red over the next time, got some feedback, and spent time correcting various typos and grammatical issues.
The last struggle was on creating cover art for it. It took some time to find something that I was completely satisfied with. I knew what I wanted it to look like, a red sun dominating an orange plain and purple mountains, a key setting of the work, but making that look satisfying took some effort.
At last, just this past weekend I completed that work on editing the edition and finally managed to produce cover art that I was satisfied with and matched what I had been envisioning and got the processes started of getting it published with the Kindle Direct Publishing site. Currently the work is available it its Kindle addition and the Paperback work is being prepared and should be available soon.
