Good Evening and welcome to December! Here is my daily writing exercise and I am going to try *fingers crossed* to actually stick to 10-15 minutes.

Please leave your feedback and your own responses to the prompt. If you like what you are reading here, I would encourage you to check out not only my other Writing Prompts, but also my books as well!

Dialogue-Only Drama: Write a conversation between two characters using only dialogue—no tags, no description.

“Wha’ again?”

“Oh, don’t start, my dear chap, you know how hungry I get this time of night.”

“I ain’t judgin, and I don’ blame yous being ‘ungry, but you’re riskin an earful from the boss.”

“What do they know? All safe and sound while we’re out here. They should have more consideration.”

“Don’ you remember the ‘iding you got las’ time? And me, even though I’d only ‘ad a lil.”

“I have apologized for that, although I suppose you have a point. The treaty was just signed, after all.”

“Yeah, ya did. Now, firs things firs. Is the ‘uman dead?”

“Mmm, no, just asleep. It is lucky for us both you happened along when you did. I had not even gotten my fangs into it yet.”

“Good, wee nudge o the memries and ‘e’ll be none the wiser. Even if you din’ feed, last thing we need is this ‘uman blabin to wrong people.”

“Okay, done. In a few minutes the human will awake and believe it simply slipped and hit its head.”

“Good, now les’ get back to it. We got a patrol to complete. Meet you back a the manse. Be’ave yeself.”

“I will, old friend, at least as much as I always do.”

“Ugh, yer gonna be the death o’ me.”

“Hopefully, like last time, it doesn’t stick.”

“Will you get on. Ya got three more areas to check tonight and I got four. I am sure they’ll ‘ave a fresh offerin for you when yer done.”

I am going, I am going, keep your cloak on. I will wait until we are done with our assignment, even though the offerings have been poor of late.”

“Good, see ya back at the manse.”

“Until then, old chap!”

I had fun with this one as well, just focusing on a story that did end up rather supernatural.

I hope that you enjoyed! I would love to read your response to this prompt as well and also what you think of what I wrote! Also, please check out my books and socials! Following my page would also be greatly appreciated!

I hope you all have a wonderful day, get the chance to do or experience something creative, and I’ll catch you on the next one.
