Good Evening! I am feeling the flow of my main WIP today, so that is what my daily writing is going to be focused on again. I am happy that I am in a creative mood for working on this and will be riding it as long as I can. On days like this, this space will largely be a diary of sorts to track my progress, and also sharing a paragraph or two that I particularly like, that doesn’t spoil anything.

The six of them moved back from the edge a little, it was highly unlikely that anyone could see even if they were looking, but there was no sense in risking it. They took the opportunity to have a rest and take a little food while they discussed what to do next. They had to find a way down from the hills they were on, dangerous even in better conditions, and sneak around this large army. They had been debating this for a little while, long enough that the sun was starting to sink in the sky, when there was a sound of trumpets and shouting from down below. Fearing the worse, they turned and crept to the edge of the ridge again.
Chaos seemed to be reigning in the enemy camp, with multiple voices raised, shouting commands, the exact nature of which was lost in the distance. They took in what they saw below, and it took even Maelith a moment to understand what they were seeing. On the North-western corner of the river, the scouting groups of their enemies were gone, and were replaced by companies of archers, who soon began raining arrows on the soldiers across the river from them. Maelith could not tell clearly who these others were, as they seemed to have several different tabards. Away to the east, there were well formed ranks of soldiers advancing on the army under the Dark Moon Banner, on both the North and South of the river. On calling out the various banners, they recognized who they were, Cav Badar had somehow moved a significant portion of his army around the flank of the Dark God’s Servants and approach them from the direction of their own base of power.
